Videos shared on Twitter receive billions of views combined each year, data shared by the company, which understands that this format is “a large part of the public conversation” and “one of the most attractive ways in which people they can express themselves online.

For this reason, it announced the introduction of new features that will help users of the social network to “find and see what is happening” more easily, as it explains on its official blog.

Following the example of other social networks like TikTok, Twitter incorporated the immersive view in the videos. With it, this type of content is played in full screen, and to continue discovering new content, it enabled upward navigation in this mode.
