The Superintendency of Banking Sector Institutions (Sudeban) issued a statement announcing support for clients and users of Bancamiga Banco Universal, as well as the defense of the rights of its workers.

The statement indicates that the banking entity’s operations are developing normally, “within the legal framework and the rules that govern the functioning of the national financial system.”

The statement was issued in relation to the recent announcement of the arrest of some bank shareholders, allegedly involved in the PDVSA-Cripto case.
