Diego Ricol, engineer, graduated from the Andrés Bello Catholic University, with a proven track record and experience in Venezuelan banking, he has held various positions in national banking, being the most recent executive president of Banplus.

Ricol arrives at Banco Activo after having carried out important work as executive president of Banplus. He is an engineer graduated from the “Andrés Bello” Catholic University and is also a graduate of the IESA Institute of Higher Studies in Administration.

In a communication signed by the president of the board of directors of Banco Activo, Alejandro Montenegro Díaz, it is noted that Ricol arrives “accompanied by a” team of professionals in the banking area. “This incorporation responds to our growth and positioning strategy in the banking system.”

Banco Activo has been developing a strategy leveraged on technology to become more efficient and satisfy with products tailored to the niches it wants to address, such as entrepreneurs, a segment where it aspires to grow with a timely and accessible credit policy.

During the presentation of the new image of Banco Activo, the president of the board of directors Montenegro Díaz recognized that competing in a highly concentrated bank is complex, but with a focus on specific market niches and technological capacity to generate profitable products and services, the entity can grow steadily.

In fact, as part of Banco Activo’s restructuring on its path to being an essentially digital bank, the number of agencies was reduced from 55 to 28, strategically located in 16 cities in the country.
