Thanks to the signing of a new trade agreement, Mexico will receive from Brazil a product in high demand: processed bones, due to its use in the production of fertilizers, collagen, animal feed, and gelatin.

According to a statement on the official website of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, “these bones represent a valuable raw material” for key sectors of Mexico’s food and agricultural industry.

This is a strategic trade agreement designed to strengthen the sustainability of agro-industrial operations between the two nations.

In 2024, “Mexico imported Brazilian agricultural products worth more than $2.9 billion, including soybeans, animal proteins, coffee, and forestry products.”
