The multinational Samsung launched a new app called walkie talkie, compatible with its new line of watches in the Galaxy Watch series and is characterized by the fact that several people can participate simultaneously in the conversation.

The manufacturing company recommends, in the installation instructions, to make the first call with the watch connected to the phone to ensure the proper functioning of the devices. However, the multinational points out that the application works independently on smartwatches.

The app works on the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic devices, which limits the range a bit because the connection is only possible between people who “use one of the new Galaxys with WearOS 3.”

The smartwatch manufacturer had a long time without innovating in the market, but this year there has been a resurgence, it has presented some novelties in the segment and Samsung’s collection of smartwatches. Indeed, the  Galaxy Watch series is generating a lot of expectations in the sector due to its functionalities.

Push-To-Talk communication is not the method most used by people in their daily lives or daily life and although Apple already had this function incorporated into its watches, which only allowed one-to-one conversations, the fact of being able to establish calls to several people simultaneously makes a significant difference to Samsung smartwatches.
