For the third consecutive year, the Secasports Menor Soccer School will hold the Seca Cup 2023 national tournament, in which more than 500 athletes from different states of the country will participate.

The Verde Mágico and Naguanagua Sport Park sports complexes, located in the Naguanagua municipality (Carabobo) will be the venues for this competition in which some thirty teams will compete for the Cup in the 2015, 2014, 2013, 2012, 2011 and 2010 categories.

The event will take place from August 3 to 6 with the purpose of continuing to promote and strengthen the practice of soccer and as well as promote values ​​such as responsibility, discipline, teamwork and friendship, in children and young people who are part of schools. , clubs and institutions attached to the soccer associations of their respective states, endorsed by the Venezuelan Soccer Federation.

Jorge Maldonado, vice president of the Secasports School, explained that this minor soccer sporting event, classified as one of the most important in the country, will be inaugurated this Thursday, August 3, at Naguanagua Sport Park, located in Mañongo, where for four consecutive days A sports, cultural and recreational program will be carried out for the enjoyment of athletes and their families, under a festive atmosphere and soccer camaraderie.

More than thirty teams will contest the Cup in six categories

For his part, Gabriel Gallo, sports director of the host school, assured that “this year we will receive hundreds of children and young people from Caracas, Monagas, Mérida, Anzoátegui, Yaracuy, Aragua, Nueva Esparta, Falcón, Lara and Carabobo, who They will have the opportunity to learn by playing, with discipline and responsibility”.

He explained that this Wednesday, August 2, begins the arrival of the delegations of the teams Dynamo Margarita, C10 de Mérida, Fratelsa, Casa Portuguesa Aragua, Casa Italia Maracay, Caracas FC, AFI Jesús Clemant, Puma Caraballo FC Soccer School, Elites of Anzoátegui , Euroamerican Academy, Barquisimeto Country Club, Kairos Sports Club, Mérida Soccer Elites, Falcón Athletic Union, Trinidad FC, Antonio Mejías Junior Soccer School, Luso Larense, Rey Academy and Falcón Heroes. For Carabobo, Carabobo FC, Semillero Vinotinto, Hermandad Gallega de Valencia, Soccer Evolution, Centro Social Ítalo Venezolano, Gol Vinotinto and the host school Secasports will participate.

The state final phase began in the quarterfinals on November 8, when Secasports faced their similar team from Santa Rosa soccer, obtaining a 9-0 victory, thus getting their pass to the semifinal.

In the next phase, Secasports defeated the Escuela Fútbol para Todos team, to then face the C.S. Madeirense, in the field of Empresas Polar, where they won 1-0.

Phase 2 of the zone was played by the teams from Cojedes, Aragua and Carabobo. In this phase, Secasports faced Trinidad de Aragua and achieved a 1-0 victory on the road, and closed the local key with a score of 5-1 against Pablo Robledo FC’s team, from Cojedes.

In the quarterfinals, Secasports played the first leg against Deportivo Miranda at home, equalizing the shares at 0; But in the second leg held in Caracas, he won the victory with 3 goals to 0.
