The Congress of the Federation of National Associations of Freight Forwarders and International Logistics Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean (Alacat) in 2025 will be held in Madrid, thus returning to Spain after the 2023 edition that took place in Barcelona this same week.

This was agreed by Alacat and Foro MADCargo, an entity focused on promoting air freight transport in Madrid, and which will host the largest congress of logistics operators in Latin America in the capital of Spain.

The president of Alacta, Moisés Solís, and the president of Foro MADCargo, have been in charge of signing the agreement establishing the collaboration framework for the celebration in 2025 of the Congress in the city of Madrid.

In the moments prior to the signing of the Agreement, Solís celebrated the return of the Congress to Spain in 2025 after a new edition of “excellent results” in Barcelona, at the same time that he thanked Foro MADCargo for its commitment to promoting the Alacat Congress in 2025 .

For his part, Cuéllar thanked the trust placed in Foro MADCargo to celebrate the return of the ALACAT Congress to Madrid after the edition held in 2001, 22 years ago. According to the president of Foro MADCargo, the Congress will serve to continue strengthening “Madrid’s indisputable role” as a logistics platform for Latin America in Europe.

In its 2023 edition, the Alacat Forum welcomed the participation of more than 250 congressmen from more than 20 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
