Pope Francis signed the canonization of Blessed Dr. José Gregorio Hernández. Despite his delicate state of health, the pontiff has given Venezuelans this good news from Italy.

As reported by national and international media, Pope Francis’ decision was published this Tuesday 25 in the bulletin of the press office of the Holy See.

The Venezuelan archbishop, Monsignor Raúl Biord Castillo, has indicated that regarding this decision it is expected that in the next few months the date for this important celebration will be determined.
