OnePlus, the Chinese mobile phone manufacturer, announced during its participation in the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, ​​Spain, the launch of its first folding device in the second half of 2023.

According to the president and director of operations of the brand, Kinder Liu, they are working to offer the user a more efficient experience. This has been indicated at the OnePlus round table during the inauguration this Monday of MWC 2023 in Spain.

Additionally, during his business conference at the congress, called “From Fast & Smooth to Beyond”, Liu has highlighted the work of the company for ten years, with extensive technological evolution.

OnePlus’ first foldable smartphone will offer strong features, Liu told dpa: “It offers powerful hardware, great software that adjusts to your devices and algorithms regarding ‘chipset’ support, among other features.”

Although it is still early to know details about the new product, at the beginning of February some media leaked the possible name, OnePlus Fold, in addition to the fact that it would be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor and 12GB RAM.
