Within the framework of the International Economic Development Seminar 2024, held in Caracas, the governments of Venezuela and China signed three new agreements for cooperation in the exchange of knowledge.

The signing took place on Friday, June 21, with the participation of the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, as well as the Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez, along with the president of the China Development Institute Fan Gang.

In this way, the three new agreements were signed between “the vice presidency of Venezuela, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the China Development Institute, the National Institute of Economic Research.”

The main objective of both countries is to “encourage the exchange of knowledge and cooperation in economic policies and promote sustainable development in the energy, agricultural and technological sectors.”
