Zucchetti Spain showed the different software solutions for the digital transformation of the industry and explained the process to carry out the comprehensive digitalization of a production plant at the BeDIGITAL 2022 Fair, held at the Bilbao Exhibition Center.

BeDIGITAL is a reference space at an international level to promote the implementation of solutions that help the digitalization of the industry and was held at the Bilbao Exhibition Center with the presence of more than 120 exhibiting firms from more than 30 countries.

The fair offered a showcase of the solutions that the industry needs to tackle the digitization of factories, the impact of Artificial Intelligence in the industry, innovation in machine-tool solutions, the role of cybersecurity, the increase in competitiveness and adaptation to the reality of industry 4.0.

Zucchetti Spain presented the process to carry out the comprehensive digitization of an industrial plant that involves all areas, such as supplier, transport, material, production, product, freight transport and customer.

Solutions for industrial needs

The company showed its wide range of solutions to address the different needs of the sector, among which Solmicro ERP stands out, a state-of-the-art, intuitive, customizable and flexible management software designed to streamline migration and allow the maximum degree of adaptability, so that it can facilitate the technological evolution of companies.

He also exhibited the MagoCloud software, Zucchetti Spain’s ERP in the cloud to facilitate the adaptation to industry 4.0 of companies that operate in highly digital contexts. In addition to the Opera MES solution, for production control; the SGA-WMS warehouse management ‘software’ solutions, which facilitate product traceability management; and Asprova, the finite capacity planning solution.

The World Mobile Telephony Congress will take place in the city of Barcelona from February 28 to March 3, with the participation of  60,000 visitors. The telecommunications association is responsible for organizing the 16th edition of the world mobile phone show (MWC) and its main objective is to become the return of “the entire ecosystem” of mobile telephony. According to Hoffman, “seven of the eight pavilions of the Gran Vía Fair in Barcelona will be occupied this year.”

The show was cancelled in 2020 due to the global pandemic of Covid-19, while in 2021 it was held in June, but with a hybrid format due to health restrictions. Only 20,000 participants attended. compared to the 100,000 who attended before the pandemic.

Returning to normality

The General Director of the GSMA, Mats Granryd, considers that the return to normality is of great importance for the mobile telephony sector, which is why this year 95 % of the 1,000 speakers scheduled for the congress will be physically present.

Among the organizations that have already confirmed their presence at the show, the following stand out: Samsung, world leader in smartphones, Ericsson, Nokia, Verizon, Google, Qualcomm, Cisco or Huawei. Companies like Fujitsu and LG will be attending the event for the first time. Sony will not be present, while Lenovo confirmed its participation virtually.

The 16th edition of the WMC will be held in the midst of the decline of the sixth wave of Covid-19 in Spain and after the authorities of that country have lifted some restrictions such as the use of the mask in outdoor spaces.
