After 3 years without making any changes to its interface, the social network Facebook brings a new update in its settings section, which went from 10 sections to 6, in order to be more intuitive and adapt to the mental models of users, making options easier to find.

The new settings menu has the following sections: Preferences, Account, Your Information, Audience and Visibility, Permissions, and Community Standards and Legal Policies.

Facebook decided to distribute many of the options in the privacy section among the new categories. However, when entering the configuration menu, an attractive section will be observed with the most important privacy and security options. In that sense, users can quickly configure how they can find you on Facebook.
