Bancamiga, through its business development program, continues to train people with business initiatives with a forum called “Strengthening the Venezuelan entrepreneurial ecosystem.”

The event, held in alliance with the Sucre Mayor’s Office in Miranda state, brought together more than 100 microentrepreneurs at the La Pizarra Cultural Center, located in Los Dos Caminos, Caracas.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about business models, value proposition, financial management, sales and Bancamiga’s value proposition for entrepreneurs.

“Bancamiga continues to train Venezuelans so that they have the necessary tools to strengthen and promote their ventures. We continue to support them, opening financing opportunities for them so that their businesses can grow and become large companies,” said José Simón Elarba, President of the Board of Directors of Bancamiga Banco Universal.

The mayor of the Sucre municipality of Miranda state, José Vicente Rangel Ávalos, congratulated the entrepreneurs for attending this valuable training and moving forward to take advantage of Bancamiga’s willingness to provide financing to promote the business initiatives of Venezuelans.

Tools for business

Experts in different areas shared their knowledge and experiences, providing practical tools to attendees. Entrepreneurship and innovation coach Luis Moreno emphasized the importance of optimizing business models to achieve greater impact.

Financial consultant Anna María Donella urged participants to exercise the power they have in finance to carry out their business idea, as well as to strive to identify the skills they must develop in this area.

For his part, Ángel Ramírez, entrepreneurship and innovation coach, promoted the current trend of sales from digital platforms, based on data analysis and the development of skills to boost sales.

Bancamiga’s Entrepreneurship Manager, Oskayda Alvarado, presented the bank’s commercial offer and highlighted the importance of formalizing businesses to access all the financial benefits.

The forum included an exhibition by entrepreneurs and the participation of micro-entrepreneurs from areas such as La Línea, Maca, José Félix Ribas, La Bombilla, La Urbina, Lomas del Ávila, Los Dos Caminos, Boleíta, Filas de Mariche, Turumo, El Llanito, Caucagüita, among others.

Daniela Viloria, from Fab Lab Caracas, the first digital laboratory in the country, celebrated the training day and the support for those who decide to start a business.

“Bancamiga is the only bank that three years ago gave us the opportunity to open a legal account in 10 minutes. We had been trying for a while, and we had obstacles in other banks, but with Bancamiga the process was very fast,” she said.

Marlyn Yépez, leader of Cacao del Valle, said the following: “I think the support that Bancamiga is giving to entrepreneurs is excellent because we all learn to identify what it is that we really want, what motivates us, what strengthens us, what we need to go from entrepreneurs to businessmen.”

Darvis Sanabria, manager of Dals Café, said that when you have a business “you need a lot of training. It is the only way that we can move up the levels and make our products more known. Through these trainings, you acquire knowledge and apply it to improve your product or service.”
