The Venezuelan economy will grow more than 8 % this year, according to the president of the South American nation, Nicolás Maduro, taking into account the sustained growth of the last 12 months.

The statement was made by the president on Friday the 12th during his speech at the National Council of Productive Economy, where he also highlighted the credits that are being granted through the national bank to promote productive activity.

With these credits, entrepreneurs, young people and women are benefiting through programs such as the Gran Misión Venezuela Mujer and Credimujer in addition to Credióven.

Maduro pointed out that the objective is to provide 1 million financing to 1 million new ventures in the country from August of this year to August 2025.
