Porsche launched a new interactive collection of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) at Art Basel in Miami. The collectibles are expected to hit the market in January 2023.

As part of its Porsche Web 3.0 strategy, the German brand took a new step into the digital universe, with an innovative experience for the public, oriented towards NFTs. The model used for this occasion is the iconic Porsche 911.

Fans of models from the manufacturer Porsche were able to appreciate the launch with a series of digital events commissioned by Hamburg-based designer and 3D artist Patrick Vogel.

Vogel created compelling “digital images revolving around a white Porsche 911 Carrera. Buyers can influence and help shape the design of their individual NFT in a collaborative and immersive journey.”

They can achieve this by choosing between three central Porsche themes: Performance, Heritage and Lifestyle; and then “integrate them into the artwork according to their personal preferences.”

Kjell Gruner, president and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, Inc., said they have long worked with creatives in the art world. “We are excited about the launch in Miami and to witness the work of NFT owners as their custom artwork is developed over the course of the next few months,” he said.

It is important to note that from next January 2023, those interested will be able to access 7,500 unique digital collectibles. The purchase per person is restricted to three copies, for an amount of 0.911 ETH (VAT included).

Porsche clarifies that its NFT collectibles are the realization of “modern luxury and the unique positioning of the Porsche brand in the digital world.”
