The National Electoral Council reported that the June 28 electoral ballot for the 69,000 Venezuelans abroad will be different, since the vote will be manual.

Each party or candidate’s cards will look different; and although the ovals corresponding to the right side are printed, the CNE established that the voter must mark the entire card with an X. Otherwise, the vote will be void.

Eugenio Martínez, director of Votoscopio, indicated in his account on the X social network that the electoral body has not issued instructions for this process. He added that the CNE “orders that the scrutiny act abroad be carried out after the organization issues the first bulletin, which due to time differences may cause the scrutiny to take place the next day.”
