The Swiss bank UBS is working on alternatives to be able to offer its clients new products related to cryptocurrencies.

This was stated by several sources close to the institution, who also stressed that these alternatives would be destined for the bank’s wealthiest clients.

UBS Group AG should be in the first planning phase regarding what is to be offered to this select group of customers.

The details of the cryptocurrency offer were not clear, but one of the sources announced that one of those alternatives could include investment through third-party vehicles.

However, he specified that any investment offering would be limited to “a very small portion of clients’ total wealth” due to concerns about the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets.
