From the very beginning of the crisis, Bancamiga’s priority was to support the community and mitigate the impact of the tragedy through tangible economic relief measures, such as waiving point-of-sale processing fees for businesses in La Guaira and fees for sending funds from abroad through Solución Amiga.

The institution also stated in a press release that it waived fees for replacing damaged or lost debit cards, restructured the loan portfolios of those affected, and created a special contingency fund with preferential rates, grace periods, and streamlined processes for individuals, businesses, and small companies in the impacted areas.

With these reopenings, the financial institution’s service network is once again fully available throughout the country: 51 branches operating nationwide; five teller windows, including service at Viva and the CCCT (with special service on Saturdays); and Bancamiga Móvil for flexible and direct service.

The technology giant Microsoft will officially close its iconic Internet Explorer browser starting June 15 to make way for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer Mode with better features.
