Musk posted on the platform: “We will be making X’s new algorithm, including all the code used to determine which organic and paid posts are recommended to users, open source in 7 days.”

He explained that the process will be repeated every four weeks, “with extensive developer notes to help you understand what has changed,” giving anyone the opportunity to learn how the system works.

It is important to note that the algorithm is one of the most powerful tools of X and other social networks, as it “determines the feed or flow of information that appears in each user’s account.”

The streaming platform Netflix is ​​testing changes aimed at personalized service for iOS devices in Australia and New Zealand, aided by OpenAI’s artificial intelligence.

These changes promise to “transform the browsing and recommendation experience on the streaming service.” This means that searches will be personalized and more natural, following user preferences, as opposed to searches based on patterns such as titles, actor names, or genres.

“The new feature breaks with this traditional framework, allowing users to perform much more complex and detailed queries in natural language. For example, you can type phrases like ‘I want to watch a sad movie’ or ‘I’m looking for a short series that will make me laugh tonight,’ and the AI ​​will interpret the mood or intent behind the search to offer recommendations tailored to those emotions or preferences.”

The platform will rely on advanced natural language processing and machine learning algorithms that understand not only the keyword but also the context and other subtleties of language.

The results are expected to be more accurate and satisfying for users, thanks to the “more intuitive and emotional” search. Currently, it is being tested in Australia and New Zealand for iOS customers, but it is expected to soon be rolled out to other customers and to the Android operating system.
