The multinational financial services company, Visa, in alliance with Finnovista, has opened the call for all fintechs located in Latin America and the Caribbean to enroll in the Visa Everywhere Initiative 2021 program, as announced by the company through a published statement on the Cointelegraph news portal.

The invitation will be available to those interested until April 2, and it is expected that it will serve as an incentive to provide solutions that solve payment challenges and the future of Visa’s commerce.

The statement also specifies that the winners will be rewarded with USD 100,000 in prizes, and it is expected that the winning startups will benefit from: validation, growth, exposure and cash prizes.

Startup program

The Visa Everywhere Initiative 2021 is considered a global innovation program that seeks to connect startups and fintechs in a global competition in order to solve the payment and commerce challenges of the future.

Participating in the program is very easy. Those interested only have to register a project which will go through a selection process for the Visa Everywhere Initiative finalists for Latin America and the Caribbean. “The winner from the region will be invited to present their solution on a global stage,” as was outlined in the statement.
