<p style="text-align: justify;">In this way, the Venezuelan head of state explained that <strong>Jorge Arreaza</strong> will leave the <strong>Ministry of Foreign Affairs</strong> and will be responsible for the <strong>Ministry of Industries and National Production</strong>. While <strong>Félix Plasencia</strong> will become the new head of <strong>Foreign Relations</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">On the other hand,<strong> Remigio Ceballos Ichaso</strong> will be the new Minister of <strong>Interior Relations, Justice and Peace</strong> and Vice President of the Government for Citizen Security, thus replacing <strong>Carmen Meléndez</strong>, who will run for <strong>Mayor</strong> of the Libertador municipality of Caracas.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The <strong>Education portfolio</strong> will be under the direction of the until now governor of Monagas, <strong>Yelitze Santaella</strong> and the Ministry of Women and Gender Equality will be governed by <strong>Margaud</strong> <strong>Godoy.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It was also announced that <strong>William Serantes Pinto</strong> will take over as the new <strong>Minister of Ecological Mining Development</strong>. On the other hand, the head of the <strong>Sports</strong> portfolio will be <strong>Mervin Maldonado</strong>, who will also assume the<strong> vice-presidency</strong> of the government for <strong>Social and Territorial Socialism.</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Through his <strong>official Twitter account, Maduro</strong> stated that the modifications respected the results of the <strong>PSUV primary elections</strong>, where some of the members of the cabinet were chosen as <strong>candidates</strong> for the <strong>regional and local elections on November 21.</strong></p>
