Major cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the launch of its new Capital Connect platform for VIP clients.

The objective of the crypto exchange is to allow the connection between institutional investors and fund managers in digital assets.

Capital Connect, which is not available to users in the United States, is a free, exclusive and automated service. “It will allow institutional investors seeking exposure to the crypto market to do so safely and efficiently.”

There, VIP clients – brokers, hedge funds, family offices and wealthy investors, among others – will have access to data on “the assets under management (AUM) of different funds, their performance records, minimum investment amounts and other information important.” And, if they are interested, they will be able to establish contact with the administrators of the funds.

The information of those involved is protected, since it remains anonymous until the moment both parties agree to the connection.

Catherine Chen, Director of Binance VIP, noted: “With Capital Connect we can help create disclosure standards for market participants with different investment and fundraising needs.”
