There are diverse and frequent “book fairs” that take place in important cities on almost all continents. Each one with its own characteristics and different dimensions. The capital of Venezuela is no exception. On Saturday, September 9, the 14th Caracas Book Fair was inaugurated, in the surroundings of the Central Town of the city, in the Cathedral parish, for the enjoyment of Venezuelan families.

Until this Sunday, September 17, “A Valley of Letters” was celebrated, a phrase that identified and promoted this edition of the event. In this case, the fair was a joint effort between the Mayor’s Office of Caracas, the Government of the Capital District, and the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture. It had special international as well as national guests, coming from and representing all the states of the country.

Texts for different tastes and requirements

The Foundation for Culture and the Arts (Fundarte) was active in promoting the event as a whole, as well as the day-to-day programming, through its social networks.

This Caracas Book Fair filled the surrounding areas of the capital city’s Plaza Bolívar with audiences, including the Municipal Palace. Seventy-two publishing houses participated, presenting their publications in more than 70 modules or “stands.”

Among the scheduled activities, on Friday the 15th at noon, a presentation and discussion took place with Rafael Núñez about his book “La Luz de los Ángeles” by Ediciones Kitzalet

It is a pleasant and spiritual text that explores what the concept of these celestial beings is, approaching it mainly from the author’s own visions and personal experiences, which transformed him as an individual and have led him to reach and travel the path of healing, committed to God and faith, from a Catholic and Christian perspective of service to others.

Núñez’s work has been presented and known at other publishing events and fairs in Europe and Mexico.

Rafael Eladio Núñez Aponte is a Venezuelan businessman, altruist and man of faith, who directs initiatives in the technological field such as MásQueDigital or MásQueSeguridad as well as on the social and community level, FundaSitio; He promotes campaigns to prevent bullying and against child sexual abuse, promoting values in children so that they learn what is good and what is not. On Instagram, he runs the account @sanandoconlosangeles, which to date has 945 thousand followers.
