<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Elon Musk</strong>, from the companies SpaceX, Tesla among others, <strong>Jeff Bezos</strong>, Amazon, <strong>Bernard Arnault</strong>, from Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy, <strong>Bill Gates</strong>, co-creator and co-founder of Microsoft, along with <strong>Mark Zuckerberg</strong>, complete the top five of the ranking of billionaires.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">As reported by Bloomberg, a “sell-off sent the <strong>social media</strong> giant&#8217;s shares down 4.9 % on Monday, adding to a drop of around 15 % since mid-September, reducing their value to<strong> 121.6 billion dollars </strong>(…). In just weeks it has lost almost <strong>$ 140 billion.”</strong></p>
<h2 style="text-align: justify;">Zuckerberg&#8217;s social networks crash</h2>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Facebook, Instagram</strong> and instant messaging <strong>WhatsApp</strong> suffered this Monday a <strong>stop of all their services</strong> for approximately six hours. Users began to experience service failures at approximately noon, then the failure reached the <strong>blackout</strong> that generated a disconnection in all the company&#8217;s social <strong>networks worldwide</strong>.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-70719 size-full" src="https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Facebook.jpg" alt="" width="960" height="540" srcset="https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Facebook.jpg 960w, https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Facebook-300x169.jpg 300w, https://bitfinance.news/wp-content/uploads/2021/10/Facebook-768x432.jpg 768w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The <em>9to5mac</em> website reported <strong>that Facebook&#8217;s</strong> failure was the product of a problem presented by <strong>a DNS</strong> that &#8220;erased the <strong>routes to the company&#8217;s domains</strong>&#8220;, also impacting the company&#8217;s internal network, which generated a greater complication and prolongation of the crash.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The companies resumed their operation at approximately 8:00 p.m., and although the managers used their Twitter account to apologize for the failures of the services to the users, there is still no <strong>official communication</strong> on the<strong> causes that motivated the blackout of the networks.</strong></p>
