The Brazilian Senate approved this week the implementation of a “Bitcoin Law of Brazil“, which will determine the creation of regulations for the trading of digital assets.

“I want to congratulate the rapporteur of the project, Senator Irajá, for the approval, here in the Senate Plenary, of this important project,” said the president of the Senate, Aureo Ribeiro.

Now, all the proposals defined in the vote will go through a process of analysis, by the rapporteur and Senator Irajá; to later be sent to the House of Representatives.

After the approval in the plenary session of the House, the text will be sent to President Jair Bolsonaro for sanction and then become law, which could be a reality at the end of the year.
