Both nations promote the tourism industry in an event that began this Tuesday, the 24th, as an initiative of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism of Venezuela (Mintur).

The participants, including tour operators from Venezuela and Cuba, as well as service providers related to the industry, will exchange experiences, knowledge and business possibilities to strengthen binational commercial ties.

“Venetur, an affiliated entity of Mintur, through its social networks, reported that different activities will be carried out at the meeting, such as a business roundtable, networking and presentations of destinations, under cutting-edge business approaches.”

During the preparations for the meeting, the president of Venetur and vice minister of International Tourism, Leticia Gómez took a tour of the Venetur Margarita Hotel, Nueva Esparta state, to refine all the details of the event.

This commercial meeting takes place on the island of Margarita, a Caribbean environment, with beautiful beaches with great potential for tourism, as well as hotels with all the services for visitors; international restaurants and both local and national cuisine; shopping centers and other entertainment alternatives.

Last April, Venezuela and Cuba began discussions on “strategies that allow strengthening tourism between both countries,” with the goal of “promoting new actions that allow the development of binational tourism.”
