At LaplanaBologna, a permanent characteristic is the high updated level of knowledge available as well as the constant training or education of its staff, since continuing education is for the co-directors of the dental institution a key issue that drives professional practice to a higher level, which remains there as a vanguard or reference and – most importantly – allows it to provide its patients with “first-world dentistry”.

On April 13, part of the LaplanaBologna clinical team made up of dentists Sabrina Coronel, Eilyn Betancourt, Katherine Bermúdez, and Bianca Plaza, moved to the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires, together with doctors Rafael Laplana and Anabell Bologna, to learn new oral rehabilitation techniques from the ABC Dental Team Group, during an intensive theoretical-practical experience.

The participants explained that this program entitled “Aesthetically Guided, Occlusally Protected Oral Rehabilitation” helps them broaden their vision “since we learned about alternative options to carry out protocols that we usually carry out in the clinic and laboratory. This allows us to complement our strategies and protocols of diagnosis, planning and execution of treatments, thus achieving satisfactory and long-lasting results for each of our patients.”

“Over 5 days, we dedicated 3 to theoretical conferences on the step-by-step protocol based on scientific evidence, and later another 2 days, we focused on practical exercise, executing the knowledge learned,” they added.

– Furthermore, it was a pleasant pleasure for everyone to celebrate that this year both the ABC group and LaplanaBologna have a publication in the magazine QDT (Quintessence of Dental Technology / Edition 2024), as it is a source of great pride for both teams to be able to belong to the select number of authors of articles considered and that make up this prestigious dental journal.

On the other hand, the total stay was 8 days, which made it possible to combine study and responsibility with recreation and culture, thus the young Venezuelan dental representation visited some of the most emblematic sites of BA and enjoyed its gastronomy.
