With respect to accounts in foreign currency, particularly in dollars, the current requirements remain unchanged.

Regarding the opening of accounts of natural persons in bolivars, the national currency, the requirements will be more flexible to “offer new opportunities, guaranteeing equality for clients, users in the banking process (…)”.

In this sense, “the variables that modify the risk rating in terms of prevention of money laundering, financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction” have been considered, according to the statement.

The organization indicated that to open a checking or savings account for natural persons level 1 it will be necessary: easy readable laminated identity card of the applicant, current or expired; address of the owner; if you are a foreigner, a legible passport.

In these, the amount of 700 times the official exchange rate of the highest value currency published by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV) can be mobilized monthly.

In other types of accounts with these same characteristics but level 2, users will have the possibility of monthly mobilizing “amounts greater than the amount of 700 times the official exchange rate of the highest value currency published by the BCV.”

The requirements that the country’s financial entities must request are: easy readable laminated identity card of the applicant, current or expired; address of the owner; copy of the holder’s legible and current Single Registry of Tax Information (RIF); if you are a foreigner, a legible passport; Income Certification (attestation) when dealing with people of free economic activity; proof of employment, when dealing with people under labor dependence.

To open bank accounts of any type, it will be essential to hold an interview with the applicant by the banking entities, which may be carried out in person or by other means, such as video call, video conference, certified by Sudeban.

Representatives of the platform highlighted that after almost two years of work, the day has come when users will be able to carry out all the operations they require with cryptocurrencies; “but always within PayPal”.

As will be remembered, in 2021 PayPal adopted cryptocurrencies as a form of payment. However, the company had not completed the development of the function that will make it easier for its clients to manage operations from the platform.

In recent years, the crypto market has experienced great growth because different investors, celebrities, and leading companies have increased their investments in the sector, becoming highly relevant in the global economy.

Simple steps to create PayPal accounts

Obtaining a PayPal account and using the platform is quite simple, following these steps:

Enter the platform and choose the “create account” option.

Provide personal data, through a form, to register on the platform, accept the terms of use and create the account.

Subsequently, it is necessary to select the payment method, where you can select between the options: bank account, debit or credit card.

Once the payment method is selected, the user must complete the information requested by PayPal, either to associate the bank account or the card, it is important to note that these data are requested only once

After creating the account and entering the data on the platform’s website, customers will be able to buy, sell or receive money through the Internet without revealing the data they entered.

Next, a window will appear to confirm the use of PayPal in the selected bank account and when you press “accept” the platform will issue a notice explaining the process to validate the account.

It is important to note that if users affiliate a bank account, the platform will execute a series of transfers to the bank account and “once the statement has been verified, the user must enter the exact amount to confirm that they are the account holder.”

In case of linking credit or debit cards to the platform, you will be able to buy immediately.

To finish, you must press the continue button and verify the account, but for this you must wait a few days.

In order to verify the account, the user must enter the platform, log in and select the option to confirm bank account, “Once you have clicked on the link to confirm it, the possibility of entering the amounts that PayPal has deposited will appear in your account and thus complete the account verification process.”

Then you must select the “Submit” button and a confirmation screen will appear. When this screen is seen, the person will know that their account is verified and can start using it to buy or transfer money.

In a message published by the official Russian registry Fedresurs, it states that “since March 22, 2022, the company foresees its own bankruptcy and inability to meet its monetary obligations.”

The Kremlin’s rebuke of the US tech giant comes after several months of pressure to remove content deemed illegal by Moscow. The company through a spokesman confirmed its situation.

“The seizure of the Google Russia bank account by the Russian authorities has made the operation of our office in Russia, including hiring and paying employees, paying vendors and vendors, and complying with other regulations, unsustainable financial obligations”.

Coercion of technology companies

The embargo of the multinational account in Russia is a strong blow because it makes it impossible to carry out financial transactions and administrative processes, although the authorities do not block access to Google.

The company also indicated that the pressure has increased since YouTube, a company of the same group, decided to “block access to some Russian state-affiliated media, such as the RT channel or the Sputnik agency, as well as prohibit their monetization through advertising.”

The real cause for which the company will declare bankruptcy is currently unknown. If it will be due to insolvency as a result of “the millionaire fines imposed by Moscow for not abiding by its restrictive digital censorship laws or due to open complaints at the request of Russian media.”

The company clarified that despite the closure of the office and its operations on Russian soil, the free services of Gmail, Google Play or YouTube will remain active.
