The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yván Gil, and the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Venezuela, Aydan Karamanoğlu, met in Caracas to review and strengthen the agreements between the two nations regarding investment and infrastructure, as well as cooperation mechanisms.

The meeting is part of the “mutual commitment to review, strengthen, and periodically update bilateral relations” undertaken directly between the acting president of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, and the Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Gil detailed the scope of the bilateral economic and political agenda on Telegram, specifying that these joint development plans will be formally expanded during the “fifth joint commission meeting between the two countries, scheduled for November 2026.”

The Venezuelan official emphasized ongoing dialogue as a pillar of strategic cooperation that is highly beneficial to the well-being of both nations.
