Google has redesigned its Google Play software platform, whose “My applications” section changes the distribution and only shows the apps installed and updated on the device in two sections.

“My applications and games” so far has a design with at least five sections. The first one shows the updates available for the user’s apps, and the next ones show a list with their apps, their collection, sharing function, and betas.

Now, as reported by Android Police from screenshots of users, this section of Google Play has adopted an aspect that condenses its sections to only two: Overview and Manage. The Overview section includes some inputs and statistics for Play Protect, as well as memory used, user ratings and reviews, and options for sharing apps.

Those who want to check the software updates available for their apps can also do so from within the first section, in the option “Pending updates“, although it stops showing recently updated applications as happened until now.

This design had previously been disseminated among a small number of users in 2020, and at the moment it is not enabled in the stable version of Google Play.
