The official dollar in Venezuela closes this Friday, August 16, at 36.68 bolivars, according to the Central Bank, the country’s regulatory body in exchange matters.

The next update will be released by the BCV next Tuesday, August 20, given that there will be no session of the exchange tables of the participating banks on Monday, August 19 because it is a bank holiday in accordance with the calendar of the Superintendence of Banking Sector Institutions (Sudeban), for the Assumption of Our Lady.
