Starting this Monday, March 9, Bancamiga opens the curtain on the Auction so that its individual and corporate clients can officially request foreign currency through Bancamiga Online.

With an innovative campaign spearheaded by Claudio Nazoa, highlighting the effectiveness of the first Masterdebit card launched in Venezuela, Bancamiga has begun a digital campaign across various media outlets to familiarize Venezuelans with this process, which is fast and secure at Bancamiga.

Under the scheme coordinated by the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), the foreign currency will be approved by the BCV and credited to the client’s Digital Foreign Currency Account (USD) for electronic use with any Bancamiga Debit Card or by reloading their Prepaid Foreign Currency Card.

Upon logging into Bancamiga Online and selecting Foreign Currency Transactions, the Private Auction option will appear. Once the client begins the steps to create the foreign currency request order, the system will automatically initiate the opening of the Digital Foreign Currency Account (USD). After accepting the terms and conditions and completing the form indicating the requested amount and exchange rate, the request is finalized.

Once the foreign currency has been allocated, the client can use it immediately by linking their Digital Foreign Currency Account (USD) to any of their Bancamiga Debit Cards or by reloading their Prepaid Foreign Currency Card to make purchases, travel, or pay for services both within and outside the country. The allocation to the USD Digital Foreign Currency Account is done through Bancamiga Online or Bancamiga Suite.
