Cyber ​​attacks recorded in Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion have grown by 20% to 1,446 weekly threats, according to data collected and published by Check Point Research (CPR).

CPR, Check Point’s Threat Intelligence division, also recorded a 1% increase, to 1,274 weekly threats, in cyberattacks directed at Russia since the armed conflict began.

By region, threats grew as follows: Europe (+14%), North America (+17%), Asia-Pacific (+11%), Latin America (+17%) and Africa (-2%) . Globally, the average number of weekly attacks per institution was 1,266, 14% more than before the conflict and 15% more than in the first 15 days.

In Europe, the average number of threats per week per organization was 1,068, 14% more than before the confrontation began and 15% more than in the first two weeks of the confrontation.

In North America, the average was 991 threats per company, 17% more than before the start of the war and 15% more than in the first 15 days of the war.

In the Asia-Pacific region, a total of 1,718 cyberattacks were carried out per company, 11% more than before the conflict started and 13% more than in the first 15 days.

In Latin America, the average number of weekly offenses per organization in the last week was 1,837, 17% more than before the start of the confrontation and 20% more than in the first two weeks of it.
