This Saturday, August 16, Venezuelan citizens will be able to visit any of the Administrative Service of Identification, Migration, and Immigration (Saime) offices to renew their ID card without an appointment.

The opening hours for this process will be from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. To be served, citizens only need to present a copy of their birth certificate.

Through its social media channels, Saime announced the operation, adding that it “also aims to verify data and is targeted at people with identity cards between 22 and 32 million.”
