This initiative from the United Kingdom is the golden opportunity for collectors, and 007 lovers, to acquire this limited edition. It can also be considered an investment, since the pieces are made of cupronickel, which is a combination of copper and nickel, as well as gold.

The coins will be a remembrance of scenes from the iconic production. In this sense, “the first piece, from the 1960s, shows James Bond, played by Scottish actor Sean Connery, sitting in Little Nellie, the autogyro that appears in the film You Only Live Twice”, from 1967. The 007 logo, accompanying the barrel of a gun, can be seen at the bottom of the coin.

The rest of the series will be revealed later this year. At the moment it is known that the price of each one will start at 14.50 pounds (18 dollars), for the cupro-nickel version and may reach 5,305 pounds (6,560 dollars), made with more than 62 grams of gold.

It is appropriate to remember that in 2020, on the occasion of the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die, the Royal Mint commissioned designer Laura Clancy with a unique 7 kilo James Bond gold coin. It was considered the coin with the highest nominal value, 7,000 pounds, in its history.
