Nintendo prepares the arrival of the new Switch with OLED screen without further plans for new versions of its hybrid game console, as stated by the company.

Workers from at least eleven video game companies would be working with development kits for a Nintendo Switch with 4k support, according to the Bloomberg media, which indicates that the new hardware would arrive at the end of next year at the earliest, citing sources close to these plans.

The Japanese company for its part issued a brief statement, through the social network Twitter, in which it says that the Bloomberg report “is not true”, and even qualifies it as “false” when it assures that it is providing tools to promote game development for a Nintendo Switch with 4K support.

In the statement he also reaffirms that he has no plans for any new model other than the Nintendo Switch – OLED model, a version presented in July that will go on sale on October 8.

The news story also listed Zynga as one of eleven development companies that had one of the 4k kits. However, after the publication and Nintendo’s statement, Zynga has denied having one of the kits, as the aforementioned medium has collected in an update.

Nintendo reportedly delivered the kits before the July announcement, when it unveiled the OLED screen version. The developers Bloomberg has spoken with have not speculated on Nintendo’s launch plans for the new console, but they hope to release their adapted games in the second half of 2022.
