Hubble continues to offer invaluable data to science every day for a better understanding of the universe, stars, planets and galaxies.

“Among their findings are planet-forming disks around nearby stars, chemical exploration of the atmospheres of planets in other systems, the first supermassive black hole in a neighboring galaxy and even evidence of an accelerating universe.”

The most recent image captured by Hubble is that of the Little Dumbbell Nebula 3,400 light years away in the constellation of Perseus.

From the observations of the space telescope, 44,000 scientific articles have been published and its work in space continues, making it possible to collect information on “the phenomena of the solar system, supernova explosions, the composition of the atmospheres of exoplanets and dynamic emission of the galaxies.”
