The common agenda between Bolivia and Brazil, recently agreed upon, is oriented towards the economic and social integration of both countries and includes 15 strategic areas.

The representatives of Bolivia and Brazil work together in sectors such as “biofuel, water resources or the Amazon,” according to information from the Bolivian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Other priority sectors on the agenda are economic and commercial, in addition to the presence of both nations in regional integration organizations. This “was defined in a meeting in the Bolivian city of La Paz between the Bolivian Foreign Minister, Rogelio Mayta, and his Brazilian counterpart, Mauro Vieira.”

The Bolivian foreign minister indicated at a press conference that joint work will allow a better response to both internal and regional priorities.

For his part, the Brazilian foreign minister stressed “the need for social inclusion, sustainable development, preservation of the environment, regional integration and bilateral integration.”
