Ethereum Futures becomes operational in UK

The company will work with liquidity providers Akuna Capital and B2C2 to help support their contracts

Through a statement it was learned that the Ethereum Futures (cryptocurrency that feeds the Ethereum blockchain) will be commercialized in a regulated platform in the United Kingdom. For this reason, investors may take long or short positions, and thus “expand investment opportunities and manage risks more effectively”.

The project’s executive director, Timo Schlaefer, explained that Ether is the second most liquid cryptocurrency after Bitcoin, with a daily trading volume in excess of “one billion dollars”.

“We are very excited about the launch of the ETH futures. The Etereum network is the pre-eminent blockchain for smart contracts, and we believe that this new commercial instrument will attract more investors and give more liquidity to the market”, Schlaefer said.
