Democrats win US midterm elections
The results of the US midterm elections, held this Tuesday, November 3, leave control of Congress in the hands of the Democrats
The Democrats will control the US Congress, according to reports from the midterm elections held this Tuesday, November 3.
Donald Trump accepted the Republican defeat and is open to negotiations for the remainder of his second term.
The midterm elections renewed all 435 seats in the House of Representatives, previously composed of 219 Republican legislators, 214 Democratic representatives, and two vacant seats. Hence the opposition’s need to gain strategic positions from the conservatives to achieve the desired parliamentary majority.
