This group, headed by Deputy Prime Minister Liu He, planned to make this trip earlier this month. However, all changes after President Donald Trump announced that the signing would take place on January 15.

The US president said on December 31st that by the 15th of this month the first phase of the trade agreement with China in the house would be closed in the presence of senior Beijing officials.

“I will be signing our very large and broad phase one of the trade agreement with China on January 15th. The ceremony will take place at the White House. High-level representatives from China will be present,” Trump said in his Twitter account.

At first, the president had pointed out that in the act of ratification of the agreement he would have the presence of Xi.
