Davos discusses the future of humanity
Around 761 speakers and about 3,000 participants will present their proposals on how to save the world
The main political, economic and social leaders are already heading towards the ski resort of the Swiss Alps, where sessions of the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2020 of Davos will take place between this Tuesday and Friday.
In the 49th edition of the forum, 761 speakers and about 3,000 participants are expected to present their proposals on how to save the world in 130 conferences from different perspectives, although the concern about the so-called emergency or climate crisis permeates the above program below and will be omnipresent in all sessions.
Global warming
The activist Greta Thunberg, along with a group of experts in the field, has the honor of opening the conference with the first round table of the day, at 8:30 am on Tuesday.
Among the topics to be discussed can be highlighted the protection of biodiversity, the decarbonization of energy, advances in health, the fight against poverty and inequality, the disruption of new technologies, the new ways of dealing with the organization of work, the revision of the classic rules of capitalism and many others.
The forum will also be attended by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, as well as senior representatives of the Chinese Government and pioneers in the economy, business and global finance.
