Dash promotes the adoption of its cryptocurrency in Medellín
The Dash Foundation is creating communities in which people and merchants make use of digital currency as a means to acquire goods and services
The Dash Colombia team held a conference aimed at users of its digital currency in the city of Medellín, attended by a total of 132 people from different regions of the country and from other countries such as Venezuela and the US.
The company has been allocating efforts for the creation of a network composed of users and merchants that implement the currency as a mechanism for the commercialization of goods and services. Currently, there are already more than 100 merchants in the country who accept the currency and the representatives assure that the Dash Invites program has favored such adoption, because it shows people how easy it is to operate with a wallet empowering the people in the use of digital currencies.
The cycle of conferences has allowed the organization to establish new connections with people and entities interested in maintaining economic relations using the cryptocurrency. For the date, a wide list of interested in operating with Dash is handled since the community has grown considerably.
An estimate of 75% of the people who attended the call were users of the digital currency and the remaining 25% were people who had recently entered the ecosystem. Similarly, the event featured vendors who offered various products and services in exchange for Dash balances.
The company has also scheduled educational courses, advertising campaigns and other activities to educate and make visible the properties of cryptocurrency, giving between $ 4 and $ 8 for new users to use among businesses that accept the cryptoactive during the conferences organized.
