The world of cryptocurrencies continues to expand, the main cities of the world are already part of this and therefore, some small ones have also joined.

That is the case of Cúcuta, which thanks to Paxful’s alliance with the blockchain company CoinLogiq will have 20 cryptocurrency ATMs.

Paxful’s manager, Magdelia Rivas, explained that Cúcuta will be one of the headquarters of these ATMs. The company is in negotiations and would open 25% of the total number of ATMs planned for the country.

“Colombia is our main market in the region. Last month we had more than 30,000 transactions in which the seller was located in Colombia. This year, we have increased our operations by 65% and a little more than one million dollars have moved from the platform”, Rivas said.

One of the main focuses that caught the attention of companies was the fact that Venezuelans will use the city and the platform a lot to save money and send remittances.

Bitcoin, etherium, litecoin, among others, will be handled in the ATMs that will open. They can buy or sell cryptocurrencies through the QR codes of electronic wallets.
