Cryptopia resumes its trading operations

The New Zealand cryptocurrency exchange reopened its operations using 40 pairs of digital assets

Through a tweet published in its official account, the company stated that it has resumed trading “in 40 pairs of transactions that we have quantified as insurance. We will continue to expand this list as we clean more coins.”

The company made the update after reopening its operations on the digital platform, after suffering a $ 16 million attack in mid-January. At the time, Cryptopia suspended services when it detected a major hack that caused considerable losses.

After the attack Cryptopia co-founder, Rob (Hex) Dawson, said that users who lost their cryptocurrencies would see on the platform a section called “Withdrawals in your account for those coins.” The section will include details on how the coin was hit during the event.

Furthermore, the recent tweet faced diverse reactions in the community; some users welcomed it again and others accused the firm of commercial manipulation.
