Cryptocurrency funds increased in 2018

An investigation carried out by Crypto Fund assured that there are 165 cases so far compared to the 156 that occurred during 2017

The Crypto Fund portal recently carried out an investigation, which ensures that during 2018 it has shown a higher growth rate in terms of capital compared to that obtained in 2017.

Despite the drop in the prices of the most important cryptocurrencies in the world, capital and investment funds transcend up to 165, which exceeds 156 last year.

Since 2014 some 466 cryptocurrency funds have been created, of which 42% are attributed to investment capital, 55% to hedge funds and only 3% to private equity funds.

The largest amount of assets held today is around 7.1 million dollars, a figure that does not seem to be significant compared to some funds that are directly in FIAT currency.

For its part, and in accordance with the Crypto Fund group’s research, the cities where the creation of such funds has become most prominent are San Francisco (approximately nine to date), New York (six), Singapore (five) and finally London (four).
