Cryptocurrency Exmo is launched in Turkey

The company establishes an office in Istanbul, the country's financial capital

As part of the launch of the digital currency Exmo, authorities decided to establish a branch in Turkey to confirm the growing importance of the Turkish cryptographic market in the region. The cryptocurrency exchange already has offices in the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Spain and the United Kingdom.

The initiative is announced after Exmo submitted a Turkish version of its website and submitted support for the Turkish lira (TRY). Commercial pairs are available in the market between the local fiduciary currency and digital currencies, including bitcoin, ethereum, curl and stellar.

The exchange said on its website and social networks that the payment through bank transfers will be available to users in the near future, as they are completing the formal procedures to open accounts in a Turkish entity.

For his part, the executive director of Exmo, Sergey Zhdanov, said: “The Turkish market has become an incredibly pleasant discovery for us. The number of merchants in the eastern region, without a doubt, pleases us. So, we have decided not to stop here and open a representative office in Istanbul to have even more opportunities in this region. “
