Cryptocurrencies reach the comics market

Characters from the Simpsons or new episodes of Marvel use Bitcoins for their transactions

The cryptocurrencies have reached the world of comics of renown as The Simpsons or Marvel. The well-known characters mention the Bitcoin, they talk about the fluctuations of the price framed in the well-known colorful speech balloons. Even, caricaturists have created characters like Monero Cat by Luis Buenaventura, @helloluis.

The reference to the Bitcoin of the new Marvel cartoon, “Hunt for Wolverine: Adamantium Agenda”, arises at the moment when Iron Man, Spider-Man, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, go in search of the body of Wolverine and assume that cryptocurrency is a global system of energy delivery that robots use due to their immutable technology and the fact of being governed by mathematics.

Regarding the Monero Cat, is based on the cryptocurrency of the same name (XMR), used to mine and created in 2014. The character, wearing mask, cape and an “M” as a clasp to the neck, combat crime as Batman does although he uses a sword.

As for The Simpsons and its relationship with cryptocurrencies, blockchain, digital money and more, comes through the game Crypto Cool, available to users through the cell phone. Although it is not the first reference to the subject in the comic, it is on top because of the validity of cryptocurrencies and their presence in different spheres of the economy.

The mysteries of digital money, decentralized transactions and cryptography have a reference through fun or hilarious episodes in the style of Tony Stark, Captain America or Homer Simpson.
