Cryptocurrencies continue to gain more and more ground in the world

An investigation carried out by the CGE ensures that in many regions of the world they began to lose more and more confidence in financial institutions and central banks

Confidence in financial institutions has been falling over the past few years, which has caused cryptocurrencies to gain a lot of ground at this time.

The study by the Center for the Governance of Change (CGE) at IE University concluded that despite this, digital assets still need a lot to be fully adopted.

Countries such as Argentina, Spain, Germany, Mexico and France maintain governments that have not taken the actions needed to regulate the banking sector, based on the financial crisis.

In the case of Brazil and the United Kingdom they are on the other side of the coin, while the United States has its opinions on each side.

All this in the aforementioned regions has generated that cryptocurrencies are increasingly used by citizens, in order to protect their finances from the loss of trust in fiat money.

The research carried out by the CGE focused on eight countries (Germany, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, France, Mexico and the United States), in which it was asked how citizens understand cryptocurrencies and the level of trust in the different institutions to Issue and manage money.

In the case of Latin America, adoption is not the same as in Europe and the United States, countries on this side of the region have greater openness to the use of digital assets, to the extent that central banks and financial institutions are losing their trust.
