Cryptocurrencies are the favorite gift this Christmas
A study carried out by the Bank of England has determined that for these festive dates citizens prefer gifts in cryptocurrencies in view of the fact that they can obtain profits with the exchange of assets
In the Christmas season the most common gifts are clothing, accessories, jewelry or decorative items. Nowadays, the clients’ preference is to receive cryptocurrencies. This is the conclusion reached by a survey of the Bank of England through its Twitter account.
Through @bankofengland the agency launched questions such as what will be the currency of the future, to which users responded: digital currency. Beyond the distrust that the bank has shown towards these assets, the survey shows a preference when it is about receiving gifts.
Money, fiat or digital, allows to invest, recapitalize, exchange assets. The cryptocurrencies, in particular, allow greater speed in transactions, security and transparency, in addition to the fact that those involved do not require intermediaries for the process to be carried out.
The survey was conducted in the first weeks of December. But the results are valid beyond the end of Christmas holidays because cryptocurrencies have positioned themselves as the preferred modality when receiving money over cash, bank transfers or gift vouchers.
Definitely, bitcoin tops the list of digital currencies in which respondents would like to receive money. Gold was the second option in the survey, followed by Treasury bonds.
